Absolute agony

I found out that you can force with phase one. It makes perfect sense and I think I do it a lot. *sigh*

I got an email from Parelli saying my 45' line is in the mail!! I get to track it with FedEx, it's on the second to last stop which is in Aztec New Mexico. ("Blah! I'm so happy!") It's the first thing besides an audition that I've actually bought with Parelli. I love my life. Notice how random I'm being? :)

So I'm in agony over two things, waiting to hear back on my audition and waiting for my 45' line to arrive.

Hmmm, how interesting! Don't be too hard on yourself, remember the first step towards becoming 'competent' is being aware that you're incompetent - consciously incompetent as Pat would say!

So, what lead you to this BFO moment?

Yes. I saw it as a quote on another blog and it hit me then.

what hit you what quote and what in the world is BFO?

Excuse my word shortenings, Haley! BFO stands for 'blinding flash of the obvious.'

I was reading a blog post about that exact quote ("You can force with phase one") earlier today, I wonder if it was the same blog?

Cut the cow? Now its your turn to explain things to me, Haley!

Are you meaning Cow-cutting? As in the horse sport?

haha, that might be thee one.
I just remember that is what my other friend called it when she came over to my house. =)
I was "playing" with cowboy after riding him and he would follow me all over the areana. then when I faced him and walked side to side he would go side to side with/facing me.

It sounds as if you were playing 'stick to me' with your horse, and it sounds great! To put 'stick to me' in a nutshell, its about getting your horse to mirror you (ie trot when I trot, canter when I canter, stop when I stop) except in this instance it sounds as if it was a case of 'follow me as I go side to side'... make sense?

Now, I can see how this relates to cow cutting, as the horse mirrors the cow to an extent. Do you have any ideas on this, Priscilla?

Oh, and if you can capture your horse mirroring you, send us a photo for tumblr! http://parellicentral.tumblr.com/

Yes, she's right. ~~I have thoughts on everything but it looks as though you summed it up pretty well.

Haley, it sounds as though Cowboy really trusts you! Keep up the good work.
