The progression is mind blowing!!

I played with Brego this afternoon and he was perfect! We played with our sideways with and without a fence, did super well.... He offered a Piaffe and Passage (two fancy dressage maneuvers)!!! That's way to advanced for him but I was happy he was trying for me... He can back out and come in at phase 1 on the 22' line! I asked for a change of direction at the canter with a simple lead change and HE DID IT!!♥

Priscilla I love your blog! I am going to bookmark it :) Tonight I played with Baron after work. I worked on stopping at an object during Circling game and have him NOT turn his hiney away and face me. This is hard for him. He really gets unconfident and tries to ask me questions by turning to face me ever time we stop at something. I finally got it to where he could stop, and he only took one tiny step away from me with his outside hind foot. :) Good enough after only 15 minutes of playing with it! We then worked on some liberty, sideways toward me. I planted Z5 against the fence and he was perpendicular to it and had a pocket full of cookies as his bonus for doing the "right" thing. After (literally) 10 minutes he got 3-4 steps toward me with my tapping of my stick and a draw of my body. This was awesome considering we haven't worked on it much!

Holly! That's great! I few years ago, Cricket offered sideways towards me and I was blown away, I figured out about a week later how I could ask for it and now it's one of her favorite things!
