Random, but cool!

After diner, we had some amazing cloud formations! We had pink, orange, purple, and grey clouds! Plus~The moon! Amazing!
The horses got some cute and pretty poses earlier in the afternoon, so did the dogs. The shadow of the horse is Brego. He looks like an Arab in the shadow, but he's really a mustang. Abby is in Alaska and wanted some pictures of him so I put them on my blog so when she has internet access she can take a look..
I caught Glassy for the first time on camera laying in the swimming pool. She looks like she's sighing or something!
I got the list of tasks that I need to do on my audition video for level 1, I'm really working on level 2 but I never got to send in my level 1 videos.

Move closer, stay longer..

Stephine Burns (a close friend of Pat and Linda Parelli) wrote a book about fear and moving closer and staying there to make it go away, the fear she was overcoming, was that of horses. She also explains different types of fear, anticipated fear, and now fear (and many more types). Even if you don't have many fear issues you should read this to understand those who do.

The title again is, 'Move closer, Stay longer'.

Mittens

This is Mittens, Abby's cat. Abby is in Alaska right now, so I'm taking care of her. She is now 10 years old, I went into the room and she was sleeping so peacefully I had to take this! Doesn't she look sweet? Now that allot of my siblings are gone Mitten's is keeping me company...

pony treats

This is Priscilla's mom. . . today I asked Priscilla to go out to feed the horses some leftover salad greens with me, as I cannot scale the fence with my injured hip. She took the greens out across the field on what I thought would be a quick errand. She must have given each horse one broccoli snippet at a time! After 10 minutes I gave up and went back inside. No wonder it takes her so long to do the animal chores! Priscilla made the BEST dinner tonight: individually stuffed pork loins. . . I can smell the garlic and rosemary. We cannot wait until dinner. As I've told the kids, we've done a lousy job of home schooling, but we eat VERY well!!

From bad to good hair day!

This is Lottie and Boppie before and after being groomed!! Hope this turns out right! They look beautiful now. That took a long time to do!
I started on Glassy too but she does not look that great yet!

Today's happenings...

I had I really fast day, I started out doing the animals. The dogs all got baths (in the hose), that took a while, and I had to refill their pools. The horses are rather easy, really.. Anyways, the day kind of drowned on, I went outside and rode Leah for 2 and a half hours. I came in and cooled down, it's SUPER hot here, it was 104 F today, then we all went outside to look at a possible tornado (we got a warning), we saw several rotations (YIKES!)! Really scary, huh?

I topped off a wonderful day with Cricket and I jumping at liberty, we love jumping at the same time! I'll need to ask a twin to video me and Cricket doing that so y'all can see.

We are going to Costco today, we are about out of food! Ha Ha, not really, but we have a shortage.

We are leaving early, so I need to go get ready (clothes, hair done, teeth brushed, breakfast, etc..)...

I really miss all the rest of the family!

It is so quiet here, I miss all my family so much, the only one's who are here are, Ian, Mommy, Daddy, and Me. I really know how blessed I am to have a large family know, when their gone!

To day I scooped the doggies pen, It was SO messy, but they love their pools! All of then got a bath in the hose 'cause it was SO hot.. The fly's were bugging Misty's ears so I put some ointment on them.

Horses and Hairdos

Jacqueline is going to write about how boring the day was...

"It was really really boring, I fell asleep on my feet at least five times!! Priscilla kept dragging me around watching dorky animals do dumb things, it was all I could do not to jump off a bridge. And then she subjected me to a gruelling 3 hour hairdressing experience, in which she poked things into my head and pulled and tugged until my head was covered in bruises. The only thing that keeps me going is that I'm headed home tomorrow...


Just KIDDING!!!! We had a lot of fun doing hair and playing with the animals, I trained a dog to heel, aren't y'all proud?? And doesn't Priscilla look pretty in her ball gown?"






Me again, Priscilla... Didn't Jackie do a lovely job doing my hair! It wasn't me that was pretty, but it was the hair! Jackie was the photographer that took the one above that looks really cool with the stall bars showing. So after all that, we went on a walk and Jackie got us lost (well kind of). She got us back though, and we all enjoyed walking with really casual clothes, but REALLY fancy hair!
It's late, Jackie and I need to go to bed and take out our hair.

The new pools!

The doggies new pools! They love it! Glassy, the very fluffy red with black dog, laid down in it. Lottie, would not touch it with a ten foot pole, but then she saw everyone having more fun and she splashed in.
They all really had fun..

We fixed the electric fence today, and Hot Chocolate, who is not fenced trained yet, got her first shock! She yelped and ran to us, but we comforted her. She was pretty shaken, but she will learn quickly...

Today we are going to go to town, we are buying a dog pool for the dogs to be prepared for the summer. Our dogs are husky's, so living in Colorado they get pretty hot!

I can't wait to see what they do when they first see it!

Starting Out...

I'm really new to the whole blogging thing, but I think blogs are cooler than facebook! On blogs, I'm really sure you don't have to deal with all the annoying advertisements that my siblings tell me about!
